About the game

Daily Word Grid is a free daily word search game you can play in your browser. Every day at midnight a new 9×9 letter grid appears with eight hidden words and a theme such as fruits, space, castles or music. Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day, so you can compare times with friends.

Drag across the letters or tap the first and last letter of a word. Words run across, down or diagonally and can be selected in either direction. Solve the puzzle every day to build a streak, track your best time and share your result without spoilers. When the daily puzzle is done, unlimited practice puzzles keep you going. No sign-up, no download, and it works on phones, tablets and desktops.

How to play

  1. Read today's theme at the top of the grid.
  2. Find the eight hidden words listed under the grid.
  3. Drag across a word, or tap its first letter and then its last letter.
  4. Words run left to right, top to bottom or diagonally, and can be selected backwards.
  5. Use a hint to reveal the first letter of a word if you get stuck.
  6. Come back tomorrow for a new puzzle and keep your daily streak alive.
